Does anyone know where Ozzie Kotani's second volume DVD might be available? It's sold out on his website.

Hey guys why don't you try emailing Oz through his Taropatch account? At least you'll get it straight from the horse's mouth as to when he'll print more copies & when it'll be available again. I'm going over to his house this Saturday to hang out for lunch & a kanikapila. I'll ask about the volume II DVD & relay the message if you guys can't get in touch with him before then.

Hoof Hearted?...Was it you Stu Pedaso?

Good idea. Sent an email! Could you let us know if you hear something first?

Hey Duke,
Speaking of Ozzie. Were you able to figure out Mahinahina from him. I know it was kind of an improv by him (Track #14 on Kani Ki Ho'alu). The liner notes say F Taropatch tuning.

Hey Mike, long time no see. I'm actually not familiar with that tune "Mahinahina" 5 years ago when I first started visiting Oz for lessons & tabs I was almost 50 years old! Luckily Oz considered me an advanced level player back then & let me prioritize and chase the ki ho'alu standards first. So many great songs but already 54 years old. Gotta pick my shots

About Ozzie's Volume #2: Does anyone know if there's tab with it or is it for those who can "Watch, Listen, Practice" as Gabby taught?

I'm pretty sure the silence is going to be deafening, but here goes...

If anyone wants to sell his/her copy of Ozzie Kotani's volume 2 DVD, I'll pay full retail for it. Any takers?

Mahinahina is an awesome track Mika Ele! The note/timing placements and emotions are so very cool! I have half of it learned by listening but as I so often do, I get lazy and only play half the song. I intend to learn it all but I say that all the time.

Just like I know almost all of Ke Anuenue by Atta but I never have the patience to sit down and do the work--just missing one section. I should get off my lazy ass and just finish those two great guitar pieces.
