I've uploaded corrections to Coventry Carol, Jingle Bells, Jolly Old St. Nicholas, Joy to the World, Mele Kalikimaka, O Little Town of Bethlehem, and Silent Night. If you've already downloaded the PDF or GP5 versions of any of these you should download them again. I've also added the TEF file for Good King Wenceslas, which I forgot to upload last time. Sorry for any inconvenience. |

Great job Craig - Mahalo, Bill. BTW Good King Wenceslas only has the TEF link. |

My pleasure. For some reason I couldn't get Good King Wenceslas to convert to GP5 properly, which is why it's only in TEF.
In case you're wondering, the PDF files were generated from GuitarPro 5 because I have a registered copy on my Mac and a registered copy of TablEdit on my PC. I can generate PDF files more easily from the Mac. And although I haven't spent nearly as much time in GuitarPro as I have in TablEdit, I have to say based on my experience generating these files that I'm thoroughly unimpressed...you have very little control over the format of the output and the format of the tab compared to TablEdit. It looks nice with the default settings (which I tweaked slightly) but you have little room to maneuver from there. |

Mike's post on the Southern California Slack Key Festival - 2010 - thread reminded me that it's about time for this thread to resurface.

This is so generous, folks! I have been wondering if something like this existed and here they are, an early Christmas present! I'd love to get one together to play for my wife this Christmas day; I can certainly get some together for next. Hanging out in this forum makes me feel like I'm back in Kaneohe. I wish I could provide poke and beer for all of you! Or Zippy's chili and rice... anyway, a big mahalo! |

We get Zippy's soups and chili frozen here in Seattle at Uijamaya's (and fresh lau luas on Wednesday flown in from Hawaii)! I took a bunch of boxes of Portugese Bean Soup to Eugene for a kanekapila and wowed da local boyz! |

Congrats on the cool neo-logism, even if it was a slip of the Slip.

Wow - it looks like more songs were added. I love the annual ritual of learning (and soon forgetting) ki ho'alu Christmas songs. Having just returned from a trip to Mau'i I think I heard at least a dozen new versions of Mele Kelikimaka - now it's time to get pressing. |
