I spoke with Andy (Admin) a couple of hours ago and he locked the Joni Mitchell thread and blocked the controversial individual from future postings. Andy will edit the controversial material as soon as he is able to, so please be patient on that matter.
Mahalo for your kokua, understanding, and taking the high ground. Let's not let one rotten mango spoil the 'Patch.

Excellent. Most of his links on his website were extremely viral. |

Like I said earlier, it was like watching a train wreck. What an ugly episode. |

Lawdy me to Lawzy me is the worst typo I have ever come across
Dear Fellow Taropatchers, Andy asked me the other day if I wanted him to lock the "Banished one's" account but I declined. Deferring the decision to all the other TP members to decide if he stayed or got exiled.
I tolerated his racial rantings for as long as I could but ultimately had to respond to make sure there was a disassociation between him the rest of the real Hawaiian people. His initial response to me was easily predictable & expected.
Truthfully though after his first vile reply. I deliberately got into a war of words or fierce exchange of barbs with him. I did it to entertain & amuse myself and to further expose him for his shameful racist attitude & philosophy. I chummed the water & he took it hook, line & sinker. I was hoping the end result would be that he'd wear out everyone's tolerance and be booted off the island. My comments actually reflected my true feelings but I deliberately scripted them in a way that would push his buttons so that he'd further expose his true demented mindset.
To everyone who came to my aid thinking I was being attacked, mahalo much for your concerns. To all of you who tried to inject some sanity into the "asylum thread" you are all good people with good hearts. To anyone I may have offended with my public jousting please accept my humblest apologies......I was on a covert mission which may still not justify the means. However, the intention was never to offend anyone else from Taropatch. Aloha always to all

Yikes,
Thanks Mr. Admin. If I had wanted this much negativity I would have stayed in Holland where I was beaten daily by blue-eyed blond bullies... at least until I learned to fight back and give them a BLACK eye! HA

His posts were ludicrous. But what made me nervous about that person was that in three separate posts here he made comments about killing people. |

Duke you did us all a huge favor. I was really upset with the direction he was taking everyone and could tell that a lot of people were trying to actually calm him down, but when I did a little search on the internet and found some of his postings on another forum I realized that the guy was really sick. You only brought out his true nature. I'm so glad he is gone. |

It was my pleasure Norman, having an opinion & passion is one thing but he was beyond extreme & totally demented. My only regret is that I did not get to witness the gigantic vein throbbing on his forehead from anger induced by me lighting his fuse.I knew if someone gave him enough rope he'd hang himself. You, me & a bus load of other people here are glad he's in exile.

Aloha Taropatchers,
Can I respectfully ask that we don't turn this thread into a bashing of the controversial individual, and instead continue to take the high ground, use this as a learning experience, and move on. Clearly, there is something "out of the ordinary" with the situation that requires help/resolution beyond what we can give on a public Hawaiian music forum.
Feel free to e-mail me via the 'Patch if you'd like to discuss offline.

We all skate on thin ice from time to time. Some have bent cards in their deck, some are even missing a few card (in vital suits, yet!). I guess you don't have to carry mail to "go postal". |
